— Trauma? You mean my lore?

A pile of books.

A hardware store light.

An entire world built from it.

I’m 4’11”, Latina, curvy, and someone who grew up completely captivated by fashion editorials. The kind where a photograph wasn’t just a look — it was an entire imagined world. (I love you, Grace Coddington!)

I knew early on that I didn’t fit the traditional idea of a high-fashion model. But instead of seeing that as a limitation, I treated it as an invitation to create.

In the early 2000s, I bought a light from Home Depot, balanced my phone on a stack of books, and started teaching myself photography, editing, and storytelling. I shared the images on Tumblr and Instagram, back when we were all just experimenting online.

Those small experiments turned into bookings, collaborations, and a 15-year career. Somewhere between standing in front of the camera and shaping everything around it, I realized I didn’t just want to be in the image. I wanted to build it.

Now I’m back, creating again — and sharing the story behind it.

Style, Strategy, Stories
& Other Musings

This is where I talk about the things that live in my head: fashion, beauty, New York life, travel, relationships, culture, and the marketing world I work in every day.

The things I’m loving, the things I’m questioning, and the occasional peek behind the curtain of the creative and marketing world I work in.

Editorial Work & Fashion Obsessions

Photography, editorials, beauty experiments, and the fashion archives I keep revisiting. The images that first made me want to build worlds of my own.

Face Value – Beauty, Skin & The Latest Cosmetic Treatments

Makeup, skincare, and the occasional cosmetic experiment. The products that work, the procedures I’ve tried, and the things the beauty industry doesn’t always explain clearly.

Out of Office – Travel Diary

Travel notes, unexpected discoveries, and the occasional reminder that leaving New York for a minute can be a good idea.
